A Princess Makes Her Bronx Debut

Come one, come all to the free outdoor screening of the royally wonderful documentary A Bronx Princess. Peep the trailer below:

A Bronx Princess will be making its Bronx premiere this Tuesday, September 1, in Mullaly Park at 9pm. Get there early though, because at 6pm West African musical performances will be provided by Blitz the Ambassador and Mamarazzi, as well as a performance by storyteller Kewulay Kamara.

Whether you or your family have immigrated here or have been in this country for generations, this film has something for every black girl. Because, let’s admit it, growing up is difficult no matter what culture you practice. We here at BLACK GIRLS ROCK!
